Frequently asked questions

What is the MOQ for custom tin cans?

MOQ depends on whether the mold exists. For our 4,371 ready-made molds, MOQ is low and sampling is fast; fully custom new molds require higher quantities to amortize tooling cost.

How long does sampling take?

Sampling on in-stock molds takes 7–15 days after artwork is confirmed. New tooling adds 20–30 days for mold development.

Can you print my logo and brand artwork?

Yes. Send vector artwork (AI, PDF or EPS). We confirm the print layout on a 3D rendering before sampling so colour and position are agreed in advance.

Do you develop custom molds?

Yes. We check our 4,371 existing molds first — most sizes need no new tooling. If a new mold is required, we quote the tooling separately and tell you the MOQ it needs.

How do you print on tin cans without fading or scratching?

Printing is cured onto the tinplate and protected with a varnish or coating layer, so artwork resists scratching and humidity through shipping and retail handling.

What printing layout files do you need?

A vector file (AI / PDF / EPS) with CMYK colours and the dieline for the tin size. If you only have a flat image, tell us — we can lay it out for you.

What are the steps to produce metal cans with custom shapes?

Send size and artwork → we confirm the mold and print layout → sample for approval → mass production → QC and export packing.

Do you offer custom tin plating thicknesses for industrial use?

Yes, tinplate thickness can be specified for industrial and non-food applications. Tell us the requirement and we will confirm what is available.
