How to Choose

Start from the capacity range your tea weight implies, then pick against the size table above. Check three properties of your content: light protection (inner liner?), moisture protection (airtight lid or foil seal?) and portability (slip lid or latch?). Tea tin molds default to food-grade tinplate; printing options and MOQ are covered in the FAQ below.

Once the size is settled, compare close matches across all molds; samples start from a single piece.

Customization & New Molds

Ready-made molds support full-surface offset printing (CMYK + spot colours), embossing and spot UV; inner coating options include clear, epoxy-phenolic and heat-resistant lacquer. If your target size differs from an existing mold, we can adapt the nearest one at roughly 30–50% of new tooling cost within 10–15 days.

About Tea Tin Molds

How do I choose a tea tin size?

Estimate capacity from tea weight: 100g of green tea needs roughly 350–450ml, i.e. a D60×85mm round tin or a 70×70×90mm square box; for 250g and above use D73×120mm or larger. Every mold in the table is labelled with measured capacity.

Can these molds be customized in size and printing?

Yes — full-surface printing (CMYK + spot colours), embossing and UV are supported; sizes can be adapted from the nearest existing mold at about 30–50% of new tooling cost, in 10–15 days.

What are the MOQ and lead times?

Sampling starts at 1 piece; production MOQ is 3,000–5,000 pieces with 15–20 day lead times; a brand-new mold takes 20–25 days. We accept LC / T/T and other trade terms.
